CADE is not only a 2D vector editor but it is a tool to publish and share drawings over the Internet. After the publication CADE documents are viewable with a regular Web browser without any plug-in. To modify the drawing CADE is required.
CADE provides collaborative work on the drawings. Several users can work on the same document locking / unlocking the drawing. The document can be managed using web interface or using CADE application interface. CADE can be easily integrated into a new or existing Windows or web application.
CADE could be used to build Windows and web-based applications. Please download and evaluate CADE Control package. The package contains .NET C#, Visual C++, Visual Basic and Delphi samples.
The key difference from the other products is CADE event notification mechanism which allows controlling CADE operations from the hosting application and associate the business logic with drawing information.
Not a fully developed software. Very glitchy. I haven't had this much trouble with software since the mid 90's.
